Study group (Monday & Wednesday)

   Study, study and study. Studied with Yuen Cheong and Taw Jin in school, the prefect’s room. Had McD’s breakfast for the 2 days! Anyway, we studied and played a bit at the same time. On Wednesday, we played basketball together after studied for quite some time. Hmm, study together in a small group really helps bcoz we won’t be so noisy and easilly get distracted. We also helped each other out Can say simbiosis? Hehe…

MV trip & Prefects’ Annual Dinner (Friday)

   Went MV with Sendhill, Saha, Taw Jin, Yuen Cheong and Ernest. Bumped into Pn Saw while buying movie tickets. She bought her 3 children and her brother’s son. She has 2 sons and a daughter. Her husband is ermm… big sized, not fat but very tall and big built. Can easily takes any1 out! Haha. Anyway, watched Bewitched staring Nicole Kidman. No comment about da movie, u guys watch urself.. Then we went CC for a round of Counter-Strike!

   Later, Yuen Cheong and Taw Jin came to my house to take bath and get ready for annual dinner. The 3 of us wore red colour shirt, black pants and black leather shoe! Yeah! So ‘chan’.. Haha. Taw Jin fetched YC, my sis and me to the dinner at Legend Hotel. On our way there, TJ’s heart was in pain, but he said it happened for quite a long time edy.

   Reached around 8.30 after a roundabout trip to the 8th floor or was it 9th floor? I’m disorientated :p Went straight to the ballroom and quite a number of ppl already arrived. Later saw Sook Yee and Pit Wai and they took a picture of us. The dinner start around 8.45pm by a speech from Boon Kwang. Then we all sapu watever we can lar, starting with the appertizer then the main course and the dessert last. Sat with, TJ, YC, Randy, Jian Fai, Perry, Chia Sheng, Sook Yee and Pit Wai.

   The form 3 probates and newly comfirmed P’s presented to us a sketch entitled ‘i love milk’ which I dun quite understand… Anyway, later on, they presented gifts to the best prefects. They are Taw Jin, Pit Wai and Zaniff. Then, came the best part where Taw Jin and Pit Wai was asked to dance on the stage! Haha, it was really sporting for the both of them. Hopefully Sook Yee will not show the pictures that she took to Pit Wai’s bf. If yes, tata TJ! Hehe. Sook Yee and Richard’s part was omitted.

   Later was the speech from Excos and protems and souvenir presentation to the retired prefects by sher how and may szin. Then we took a group pictures and chat for a while b4 we decided to back. But b4 that, we went up to room 1538 which was booked by a few prefects. We played cards for a while and then go home! So nice of TJ to fetch all of us home.. Thanks

p.s: This is the last time for me to go to the annual dinner as a prefect. Next year i will bcome an ex-prefect. This is quite an unforgettable events lar. I had a nice time and I am sure most of them who went there would feel the same.

Football(Thursday)

Kok Choon Teng brought his mp3 player to school since we hav quite a lot of free periods. Listened to Maximum Acceleration and some other songs. Later in the afternoon, played football (form 6 telematch). Some ugly incident happened (do not wish to elaborate). Lost 0-3 to L6Sc2 again. YES, again! Dunno wat happened to our team, kept on losing. Lost our touch perhaps?? In the second match, we trashed L6Arts1 6-0. This time I played my best! Haha!

Retirements Day(Friday)

   Helped Yuen Cheong out in T-Mori quiz. Then the football game was cancelled. Later Sook Yee fetched me home and to Pantai Hillpark because I will be showing her the way to go there. Arrived at Pantai Hillpark around 5pm. Headed straight for the food. Hahaha. It was quite dull for me because there’s no upper 6 male prefect except for me and Iskandar. Anyway, Iskandar thought me how to ride motorbike. Nearly crashed into a car, luck me, i only banged my finger and it got blueblacked :p Around 6pm, Taw Jin, Jian Fai and Yuen Cheong arrived. We hanged around and then at 7pm, we all hav packed.

   Later, we decided to go pasar malam at Pandan Indah. Ate a burger there! Very nice, recommended by Taw Jin. Satisfactory guaranteed! Every1 chatted for quite some time with Yuen Cheong cracking most of the jokes. Went back home around 10pm. Jian Fai sent me home with his Kancil.

Red Box(Saturday)

   Reached Red Box around 12.15pm. My classmates was singing already when I entered the room. Sang a couple of Chinese and English songs like An Jing, Kai Bu Liao Kou and Jie Kou, Westlife and some other songs. Bee Ying has the best voice among all of us and Marc surprised us with his song by josh groban, u raised me up!!! Fantastic voice! Sang until 3pm and then we all cabut! Walked around Sungei Wang and then went home.

(ps: this was my 1st trip to sing ‘k’, nice experience, enjoyed the company)

MISS MOEY’S RETIREMENT DINNER

DATE: 06/08/05

VENUE: PARK ROYAL HOTEL

   No regrets! That’s my way of describing it. Yup, its fun and nice. Everybody was dressed to their nicest that night, including me. Its a bummer that guys’ style and dressing are so limited. Collar shirt and batik, wat else? Its different with the girls pulak. Lots of variety to choose from and to style themselves up.

   Arrived at the hotel around 7.05 pm. Some of them already arrived. The girls in my class was dressed up so nicely. They looked totally different from school =p Anyway, went to get a tie from Marc. Then he showed me the potraits that will be given to Miss Moey as a gift. It was drawn by an artist in Central Market. Took a couple of photos with classmates. Choon Teng with his nokia 6230 and his new mp3 player.

   Later, around 8pm, Miss Moey arrived in her beaming red dress. She had a smile on her face so warm that it would melt ppl down. Then it was speeches from the school captain, Wil Liam and Pn Phoon. Then came the dishes… I would prefer not to elaborate on it bcoz it was quite a let down. Anyway, between the dishes, we were entertained by songs from some mbs boys. What captured me the most was Pn Tay’s daughter. Not really sure how old, i think she was around 6 to 7 years old. She danced for the audience, so cute and adorable! Later was Marc and Choon Wah’s performance. Piano + ‘er hu’ (some kind of chinese violin), played by Marc and Choon Wah respectively. They played the song ‘Colours of the Wind’ from the movie pocahontas. It was really nice and it seems special to every1 there. Then there was the performance by the school choir, lead by Jason Yong.

Then students went up to give her presents and our class went up together to give the potraits to her and every1 took picture with her. When everything was over, Miss Moey gave her speech. To tell the truth, I din really paid much attention due to the distrubance from classmates =p Then there was also a slide show about Miss Moey, about her life and her motto. Then, its time to ‘disband’. Took quite a number of pictures with teachers and frens before going home.

I’m going to keep this really short coz I’m very tired after coming back from Miss Moey’s retirement dinner.

Football match (Monday)

   What a dissapoinment, our class lost 0-2 to 5A and then 1-2 to L6sc. This spells the end to reach semi final.

Basketball (Wednesday)

   Stayed back in school to watch our class’s basketball team in the telematch. Ugly incident happened when some school prefects came and stop the match due to attire problems. The game was then postponed but later our team dropped out bcoz they have no mood and wanted to boycott the game. Anyway, rain falled around 3.30 when I was heading to KITA for tuition. Was wet when I reached there. Damn cold, was freezing under the aircond as if i’m in antartica!

Mid Valley (Friday)

   Brother Hiew and Sendhill came back to school. So Ernest, YC, Hiew, Sendhill and me went to MV for movie. Stealth is wat we watched. Wat can i say, I was expecting jet vs jet but…. wat a let down :p Anyway, went Dota with Hiew and YC after that.
