Legend Of Lup

Went to Redbox on Monday. Meet up with a lot of frens. And somehow the songs and the atmosphere inspired me to write a poem. Hehe.. This is da poem i had in my mind. (nope,it has nothing to do with me)

How could i hav forgotten?

That time,

The time when i developed a kind of feeling for u,

Suddenly found myself in love with u,

Love is so simple.

But now its too far away,

Remembered the place where i lost u,

The scent of you,

Lingers on,

Eventhough I’m still here,

But you have already moved on,

To live a happier life.

Are you happy now?

   Muahaha.. Went to IPOH for 3 days 2 nights after being invited by my new housemates and uni frens, Kok Leong and Kam Yuen. Wat comes to mind when visiting Ipoh? Eat lar of course (not forgetting the cybers there). Well, travelled to Ipoh for 2.5 hours from KL puduraya. I was greeted by Kok Leong once i reached Medan Gopeng (1 of ipoh’s bus station). Then went to have a look at Kam Yuen’s house (since i’ll be staying there for 2 nights, hehe).

   The off we travelled. They brought me to the biggest and hottest cyber there called INFINITY. "WOW", that was my first impression as it was better than most of the cybers in KL. Big and comfy. After playing Dota for 3 rounds, they brought me to JJ corner. Though not famous for anything but the food there is very nice. Later, we went to Kok Leong’s house. Then we stopped by at Kam Yuen’s mother’s shop. A small drink stall. He made us ice kacang. Yummm… Later we went to Old Kopitiam to have a drink. Met some of their frens there too. Off we go to snooker centre to play a bit of snooker. Well… I’m not good in this but played a bit. Can’t even shoot properly, malu saja. Wat’s next? IPOH TAUGE CHICKEN! Went around 12 sumthing at night! Man, this place is full of people eventhough its midnight. Guess tauge chicken in ipoh is really that famous and nice. Finally tried it myself. YUMMMMM….. Dun be jealous..hehe… Then headed back to Kam Yuen’s house. Those guys played diablo 2 with their laptops. Can’t wait to get a PC in sabah so we can LAN the game.

   A well planned morning gone down the drain because we woke up too late the next day. "Say want to wake up at 9am! U c lar wat time already now. 1pm lar!" Hehe.. Enuf hav been said :p Then we went to makan again. Had chicken rice for lunch. Had a walk in Jusco in Ipoh. Quite huge! Played 2 rounds of daytona. Both oso i lose, crap..Haha.. Then went to INFINITY again to play a round of Dota before going for dinner at 2 + 1. Its a steamboat plus a place around it that u can fry stuffs. Just like the 1 in Restoran Talipon. FUAHHHH…. ate until can’t move and a burnt lidah. Went back to house later and watched Howl’s Moving Castle with Kam Yuen while Kok Leong was playing with Diablo 2.

   A little effort was given to wake up early. Got up around 9am the next morning. Then wat else? MAKAN lar, apalagi? Went to eat Hakka Mee. This stall is packed with people. Many people was standing and waiting for their turn. So hav to eat quickly and give the place to the next customer. This Hakka Mee stall is a famous place and was published in the newspaper. We then walked across the streets to get a hand on the Tau Fu Fa. This shop is also famous and wat surprised me was this shop also operate like a drivethrough! Hehe.. People come in their car, order, eat or ta pau, and leave. No need to get out of the car! The tau fu fa was so nice and smooth! Did not regret trying it! Later went for a walk at a place just to get CDs. Then they sent me to the bus station and i left Ipoh around 1.30pm!

   Thanks to Kam Yuen and Kok Leong for their hospitality during my stay in Ipoh! Because of them, i got to see a lot of places and most importantly, MAKAN, taste nice foods and eat good stuffs. Thanks a lot again guys! C u all back in Sabah!

   At last, finally, the moment i hav been waiting for has arrived! I’m back in KL! HAHAHAHA (gone crazy). Anywayz, i’m glad to be back in KL. U know, I miss the foods, the cybers, the malls and most importantly, my family and frens.

   I was greeted and fetched by Yuen Cheong, together with Taw Jin, Collins and Sendhill. We then go for mamak. Its glad to see that my frens havnt change. Yuen Cheong is still the 1 kena ‘bang’ from Taw Jin, Collins and Sendhill. Fun to see it though.

   The next day, went for movie, double O seven (007), Casino Royale. Nearly had heart attack due to the ticket (just imagine wat the washing machine can do on a ticket). But then we where able to enter the cinema without problem. Then we had Nandos for dinner, Dota for supper, and ayam maya for a really really ‘early’ breakfast.

Sum of my frens was shocked to c my hair. Well, this is wat happens when u do not cut your hair for 4 months.

   To go home or Not to go home? To be or not to be? No no, this is not shakespeare’s drama or some wise-guy television show. This is just Lup Kee broadcasting his confused state of mind. He, who we called Lup Kee (or Lucky, whichever pleases u |-) ), is deciding whether to go back to his ‘kandang’ during this semester break..

   ’U know lar, air ticket now so expensive oh! Go and come back oledi rm500++ leh! Where got enough ’sui’(money in cantonese) to support my next sem expenditure wo. Me still want to get a desktop ar!’ Lup Kee commented with his Benglish or Singlish or watever u call it..

   So when the unfortunate Lup Kee decided to stay in Sabah during the semester break, he was told that every1 in the house is going home..

   ’What! Left me alone in the house ar? Wei! I’m scared of ghost leh! Dun one Dun one.. Scary ar.. 1 big house only 1 person.. If not die because of ghost then sure die of boredom! Aisehman.. Now hav to rethink my plan liao.’ Lup Kee is scared.

   ’TUT TUT, TUT TUT’ (no, this is not cursing), the telephone rang.. Lup’s mom answered the phone. Ma ar? Your son ah.. Since no one is staying in Sabah during sem break, i oso want to go home.. but the ticket very expensive..’ Lup Kee said.

   ’Money is not a matter son, if u feel u want to come back, u can come back anytime.’ Lup’s mom commented. ‘OK LAR then, i will come back this sem break lah!’ Lup Kee said in excitement.

So, this is the story about Lup Kee who was deciding whether to come back or not. In the end, he decided to make his way home to meet with his family and frens. Not forgetting yum cha and Dota…….

(ps : Lup Kee is coming back this 17th of Nov just right after his exam and will be leaving back to Sabah on the 5th of December. Dun forget to meet up with him ya?)
